I wrote this song when someone I was with for five years left me and I found myself rushing into a new relationship. It was a time of mixed-feeling in me, lost, shocked but wild and free. In those lost and broken moments, I found the philosophy of Buddhism. I burst into tears of joy and sadness. The song goes beyond a love story. You’ll find Buddhist philosophy here and there; The reality of duality, ups and downs, tears and joy,.. bad things are inevitable, like yin and yang, so we have to embrace not only the good, but also the bad; Nothing stays the same forever, so I treasure every moment memories are made,...; and then,... when it’s time to go to the other side, you won’t be able to bring anything with you, except for one thing,... Memories!
